Education/Training/Credentials:
PhD Chemistry, Montana State University - Bozeman
BS Chemistry (Biochemistry Emphasis), Pacific Lutheran University
Teaching Philosophy:

Provide students with an inclusive learning environment enriched with resources aimed at helping them achieve their best outcomes.

Research / Professional Interests:

Development of new catalyst systems activating small molecules via non-covalent interactions.  Prior work in the group involved catalyst functionalization of Dendrimer and Gold surfaces, hypervalent and catalytic iodine-based systems, synthesis of natural products and related derivatives, alkynoic acid cyclization and preparation of N-propargylic amino acids.
