MISSISSAUGA — The City of Mississauga has announced it will be holding a public meeting to present an overview of its proposed  (CIP) and seek feedback.
The meeting will be held May 21 at 6 p.m. at the council chambers, 300 Civic Centre Dr.
If approved, the plan will offer grants and financial incentives for a variety of rental units, from larger-scale apartment buildings to additional residential units such as garden suites and basement apartments, stated a release.
The CIP will be funded, in part, through funds received from the federal . In December 2023, the federal government announced a  under the fund.
The meeting will also be presented via  on the City’s website.
