OAA hosts Highlights of Sudbury virtual event

TORONTO — The Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) is hosting a special full-day virtual event, Highlights of Sudbury: An OAA Special Virtual Event this October.

Earlier this year, the  brought together experts from across Ontario and around the world to Sudbury to share their perspective and knowledge related to the built environment, architecture and Designing for Dignity. 

The OAA is bringing back some of these speakers for  on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

The full-day event offers six hours of structured learning for the OAA’s mandatory Continuing Education program which includes a live kickoff session at 9 a.m., followed by a wide variety of learning opportunities before a conclusion session at 3 p.m. 
Talks include Designing for Dignity in Canada’s Most Remote Communities; Children’s Treatment Centres and Schools in Ontario; IPD and the Architect: Challenges & Opportunities; and Deep Collaboration with Indigenous Practitioners, with presenters from across Ontario and around the world.
