THE POSITION
É«ÖÐÉ«, a Washington State Community College, is recruiting for a full-time, tenure-track instructor of Mathematics to begin work for Fall Quarter 2025. The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher whose enthusiasm for the subject will be demonstrated in the classroom. In addition to delivering associates degrees and certificate programs, É«ÖÐÉ« is committed to preparing students for transfer to baccalaureate programs and is collaborating with several state universities to offer select four-year programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Teach a broad range of Mathematics courses from Arithmetic through Calculus, including Statistics. Most of our classes consist of Statistics, Math for Non-Science Majors, and Beginning Algebra;

- Maintain office hours to assist students;
- Evaluate, develop and modify curriculum to reflect current scholarship in the teaching of mathematics;

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

THE POSITION
The Corrections Education Navigator serves É«ÖÐÉ« students at Clallam Bay Corrections Center, and Olympic Corrections Center. The Navigator supports students through their entire life cycle as an incarcerated student from orientation and admission through graduation. Using the guided pathways model this position assists students choosing the educational pathway that best suits their academic and career interests, helping students evaluate transitional studies and/or post-secondary education or pre-apprenticeship programs both while incarcerated and post release. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team that supports incarcerated individuals develop a comprehensive reentry plan and assist individuals reintegration into the community.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop educational plans with students to be incorporated into the Individual Reentry Plans (IRP) with counselors, DOC reentry navigators, community corrections staff, and multidisciplinary teams in accordance with RCW 72.09.270.
- Identify and engage in outreach to incarcerated individuals and provide education resources as needed focusing on those closest to release.
- Participate in facility orientations
- Provide academic advising to students in transitional studies programs, postsecondary and/or pre-apprenticeship programs available to students during incarceration.
- Provide ongoing career and employment counseling including discussions on employment restrictions post incarceration.
- Assist students applying for post-secondary education and training including: applying for admission; completing and submitting financial aid and scholarship applications, coordinating phone calls or virtual meetings with colleges and/or apprenticeships in the community, assisting incarcerated individuals address prior student loan debt, and establishing repayment plans.
- Explain transitional studies, postsecondary and/or pre-apprenticeship program requirements including access to employment data on specific programs.
- Assist students with acquiring high school and postsecondary transcripts from previous educational programs.
- Provide registered students with copies of unofficial transcripts quarterly.
- Provide training and information to classification staff as needed.
- Advise new/prospective students of requirements for academic transfer and professional/technical programs and/or degrees. Provide community program information to students who are within 24 months of release.

THE POSITION
This is a faculty position responsible for providing mental health and academic counseling in individual and group settings. This position provides immediate, short-term help to students in distress that are experiencing personal, social, emotional, physical, psychological, and behavioral problems that may interfere with college success. This position will focus on advancing campus wellness initiatives to ensure a trauma-informed and healing-centered campus.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Mental Health Counseling- Conduct short-term goal-oriented counseling sessions with targeted interventions focused on achieving stability, enhancing coping skills, personal empowerment, and safety.
- Provide crisis counseling to students (individuals and groups) on a wide range of concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse, etc.) that may interfere with their ability to succeed in college.

THE POSITION
In a dynamic and inclusive environment, this role will serve as the primary contact for and support a diverse range of student success services. Key areas include: Access Services, Running Start, Advising, Multicultural Inclusion, Career/Transfer Services, Counseling, and Veterans Services. Situated within the Student Services Division, this role champions equity and accessibility in education.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Access Services: Facilitate access to resources, coordinate accommodation requests, coordinate all accommodated exams (e.g., scheduling, proctoring, etc.), maintain organized and confidential records, manage and track Access Services data, and promote the use of assistive technology to support diverse learning needs.
- Running Start: Track student onboarding, enter EVF and other data, manage resources, and support events that foster belonging.
- Advising: Assist in coordinating advising services that cater to diverse student groups and academic interests. Code student’s advisors in our student information system. Manage advisors’ (and other staffs’) schedules and assist with trouble-shooting scheduling software. Manage and track advising data to assist with staffing, scheduling, and events.
- Multicultural Inclusion, Career/Transfer Services, and Counseling: Contribute to projects and events that uphold our commitment to a diverse and inclusive campus culture. Schedule counseling appointments with care and confidentiality; manage counselors’ schedules.
- Veteran Services: Support veteran students through tailored communication and event organization.
- General Support: Undertake budget management and other administrative tasks for the department, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students.

THE POSITION
É«ÖÐÉ« is seeking innovative and dedicated part-time Arts & Sciences faculty, focused on student learning success, who would be able to teach courses in their subject(s) of specialization in various modalities. Students taking the courses would include both those aiming to transfer to bachelor's programs either at Peninsula or our four-year college partners, as well as students in the College's professional and technical program.
Teaching assignments will depend on the instructor's background and availability. Candidates should be willing to teach in various formats, including in-class, hybrid, and online, as well as at different times, including days, evenings, and weekends, according to program needs. Successful applicants must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, staff, and others in a campus climate that promotes cultural diversity and multicultural understanding.

THE POSITION
This full-time position supports institutional research and student success in a highly collaborative and cooperative capacity. The research analyst will support the college's commitment to using data for continuous improvement, data integrity, transparency and accessibility by providing data and analysis for use in assessment, planning and reporting. This individual will be responsible for the extraction, transformation, and analysis of complex data sets to answer key institutional questions. The candidate will need to be proficient in handling diverse types of data and formats, ranging from raw files to structured relational databases. The ability to present these insights through high-quality visualizations tailored to multiple audiences is crucial. A successful candidate will need to show that they can balance working as part of a team with a high degree of independence, managing competing priorities and overseeing projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide research and analysis in support of institutional effectiveness, assessment, and planning.
- Produce tables, graphs, dashboards, and narrative analyses of data to easily display, summarize, and communicate student success scenarios, e.g., retention, enrollment, graduation, etc.; develop and maintain a meaningful set of standard reports for internal and external audiences using tools such as SSRS, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Assist in responding to reporting requirements from governmental agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Education (IPEDS and Gainful Employment reporting) and the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (student, employee, and financial reporting).
- Perform high-level database queries using Structured Query Language (SQL), PeopleSoft (Oracle), and other related technologies.
- Maintain the Data Mart Ticket Portal; evaluate, prioritize, and respond to ad hoc requests from administrators, faculty, staff, and outside entities in a timely manner.
- Using appropriate technology, automate and maintain daily FTE Reports, Finance Suite Reports, Tableau extract refreshes, and other processes as identified.
- Monitor institutional coding practices to ensure consistency and integrity of student and enrollment data.
- Serve on college committees as assigned, including Data Accountability Workgroup (DAWG) and Data Integration Group (DIG).
- Participate in college-wide Lean process improvement activities.
- Working collaboratively with cross-departmental teams, Design and develop software solutions to support research initiatives and data analysis.
- Provide professional development opportunities for the campus on the collection, understanding, application, and use of data and data products via training and data presentations.
- Support survey administration and reporting.
