NASA Announces $450 Million in Upcoming Construction Contracts, Set Aside for Small Business
NASA — NASA’s Office of JPL Management and Oversight (NOJMO) in Pasadena, CA.

The US space agency NASA is preparing to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for $450 million in 5-year, small business construction project contracts, the agency said in a presolicitationÌý.Ìý

Construction work for the repair or alteration of administrative facilities and service buildings will primarily occur at the following California facilities:

  • NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC)
  • Ames Research Center (ARC)
  • NASA Office of JPL Management and Oversight (NOJMO)
  • Edwards Air Force Base, United States Air Force (EAFB)

The projects are set aside forÌýto help promote and supportÌýin theÌý. NASA’s announcement classifies these asÌýcategory 236220,Ìý, with revenue up to $36.5 million.

The RFP falls under the Western Regional Multiple AwardÌý(WRMACC) for Northern and Southern California. NASA said the forthcoming RFP also calls for anIndefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract, orÌý

Additional California locations expected in the RFP include Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex (GDSCC) in Fort Irwin and Santa Susana Field Laboratory (SSFL) in Simi Valley, NASA stated.

The RFP is expected to be released around November 1, 2024, and proposals are anticipated due by December 13, 2024. NASA said the RFP will provide firm dates forÌý.
